Apps Start an App/Service from the web

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if someone could poin me in the right direction:

I want an application or service to start on my phone as soon as a button is pressed on a website.

I.e. I will create a website that has a button, and whenver the button is pressed, my phone will start a service or app. Is this possible?
