Start recording without pausing music

Is there a way to start recording video while leaving the music (ideally from Spotify) playing in the background?

I know I can turn on the music again after it has paused when hitting the record button, but this is annoying, especially when I want to record many small videos.

First thing that comes to mind I suggest is using a Screen Recorder

I don't believe so, the only reason it cuts out is so that the music you're playing isn't picked up by the phones mic thus over powering the sound of the recorded video.
