Sort of. It's good at keeping things from loading and opening (corporate calender), but it comes up short when it's supposed to prevent an app from loading at boot but remain available for later use. I've found that everything I've tried to keep from booting but use later, Startup Auditor will close them anyway. I still use it though on the apps I never use.
