Help Startup PIN

how do I set up a startup PIN that has to be entered each time my phone is started.

Hi. I did not want to enter a pin after every lock screen, only when the phone is switched on. Is that possible?. It used to be with my galaxy ace. Cheers.. Daniel

Daniel, there may be a setting to do that but I haven't seen it.

You could set up a PIN for your SIM, so you will be prompted for that whenever the phone is restarted. Settings/Security/Setup Sim Card Lock.

Thanks, but I am having a problem, when I select Setup Sim Card Lock it asks for a PIN but I haven't set one
up yet....

What am I missing?

I'm using tasker on my rooted s5 to achieve this. Sets pin on device power off and restart.

I worked it out, Optus had t0ld me to use 0000 as the simlock pin then create my own, I just forgot.
