status bar issues with fullscreen apps

so when ever im in a full screen app an i pull down anywhere on the screen it pulls down the statusbar and it keep my touch on the screen until the statusbar goes away enven when i lift my finger

I'm using Nova Launcher and when I pull down the status bar I just put it back manually. That is I slide it back up. I've never waited to see if it disappears by itself. Interesting question though, I'll pull it down and see what happens. Which full screen app do you recommend I test engiepro?

But if you are in an app rather than on the homescreen the launcher shouldn't matter. Do you have any system wide gesture settings?

Okay. I tested with the Youtube app watching an HTC 10 vs. iPhone 6s review in full screen and pulled down just the statusbar not any of the notifications contained therein. 3 seconds later the transparent statubar went away by itself. I think my 1st test was not what you were talking about engiepro. Am I on the right track?

i do have gestures but i have them turned off
