Stealth screen.

My favorite desktop configuration includes totally blacking out all icons, drawers, and dock items, so that they all respond to touch perfectly, yet are totally unseen. I know where they are. No one else needs to.
Behold, the stealth screen. (Hey, there's not much there, but I like it. Lol.)

Blimey!

I hadn't even thought that was possible....
Although I probably should have been able to work it out.

Might add a stealth button or two to my devices.

And with a launcher like nova... Which can save and load its settings from a file... I could activate and disable stealth mode by loading the config

Super easy!
just hold your finger firmly over your camera lens, the result should be a black photo ion your gallery, use that same photo as a source photo for the icon for any app or folder you want to hide on your desktop, and be sure to get rid of any text for the folder, and voila! You could actually do it with any color..
