Steelers Predicted to Land Justin Fields in Trade

We had Fields for 3 years and sat in the cellar of the NFC North for 3 years. I never saw Fields show any enthusiasm when he was playing for the Bears.

It's nothing personal against Fields. I have no doubt if the Bears hang on to Fields we'll end up in the NFC North cellar again for a 4th year.

I don't know a lot about the Steelers, but I saw how unhappy Trubisky was the last time he played. I can't see Pickett and Fields getting along.

I felt that trade going down Monday. Rudolph is not the man but neither is Trubisky or Pickett. Pickett is not a lost cause but he's not come close to proving he's a starter in the NFL. I don't think the Steelers are afraid they are going to piss anyone off by bringing in more competition for the starting position.

Trubisky has already been released and the rumor is they will bring in Ryan Tannehill. He was the QB with the Titans when Arthur Smith was the OC in TN. Smith is now the OC in Pittsburgh so they know each other well. If I'm Pittsburgh, I try to get Russell Wilson from the Broncos.

Exactly, who wants this contract :

Wilson is guaranteed to make $39 million in 2024, and his contract includes an injury clause that fully guarantees his $37 million salary in 2025 if he passes a physical in March.

Rusty is good but that's a steep price to pay an aged veteran. I can't see him not playing after pulling the Broncos out of the gutter the way he did. He's an attractive commodity short term if that unrealistic contract can be negotiated.
