Stereo / Surround sound problem

Hi ! Recently I bought an Samsung S9+. What I did noticed, after making the updates and installing some games, is that, after a few minutes, the music ... changes... It's like it's not stereo anymore (or, better said, that surround feeling disappears) . It just sounds worse...

Noticed this on PUBG Mobile (high settings, in the main menu), Pako 2 and Real Racing 3 (while racing). And after around 5 mins from the game's start.

Is this normal for an brand new S9+ (idk, overheating), or should I have it replaced/fixed (or is it any way to fix it myself) ?

Oh, and Dolby Atoms is on, and also I have an Clear View Cover on it (again, may be overheating, idk).

Thanks in advance !

Isn't the Dolby Atmos feature what's supposed to give the surround effect with headphones? And you've got it on.

Sounds like maybe a software problem. I don't think overheating would manifest itself as a change in sound effects. Have you tried just restarting the phone, to be sure? And if you're using wired headphones, make sure the jack is plugged all the way in.

No, it's not related to any headphones. (I understand if what I said doesn't make sense, but I think "surround" is the most suited word for how the music sounds while playing. Only problem, that thing fades away after about 5 mins, then the music sounds just... different.)

Although I did restarted it a few days ago, it's worth a shot.

No. Nothing external. I'm listening to the phone's speakers. On them this ... thing happens, and the audio sounds worser.

Curious thing, before the problem occuring, only at close range that "surround" / good audio effect happens. If I make a bit of distance from my phone, it sounds like having this bug.

Again, my apologies for probably confusing you, but I can't really explain this issue accurately... (it sounds so random/crazy :)) )

EDIT : Nearly forgot, a restart didn't fixed this ;-;

No problem. As it apparently happened after an update. Could be a software bug, that Samsung needs to fix with another update? Maybe see if anyone else has reported same issue? Does it also happen when it's just playing music, and not gaming?

that Samsung needs to fix with another update?

Huh. Speak of the Devil XD

Actually, I just checked for an update on the software, to be sure. And there actually is one :))) Will update if it fixes my problem or not.

And I haven't checked it on music yet (because I haven't got my music on the phone yet ) But I did tried with YouTube (mostly talking through) . Doesn't seem to happen.

Checked it a few days ago on Google. Nothing matching my problem sadly :(
