Nexus One is a "Software Multi Touch Disabled Device".
Meaning in its "Hardware State" its capable of Multi Touch in every sense of the words. (Iphone like capabilities)
The "Stock" (from the factory) US Android 2.1 and earlier has Multi Touch Disabled in all stock applications, due to unknown reasons. (We all think it's Apples darn copy writes)
All 3rd party applications can take full advantage of Multi-Touch. Do some searching in the App Market. or The Forums for Multi Touch enabled apps. (There are LOTS)
There are a lot of people right now working on a ROM that will enable Multi Touch in most or all of the stock applications.
I hope this will slow down the ruthless amount of Multi Touch threads.
