Help Still got swype after the update?

Yesterday my phone was acting up a bit so I decided it was time to do a factory reset. After the reset I went to reinstall swype and got this message: Your phone is not capable of running swype, or your carrier is putting out an update that includes it.

I checked for a system update and yup, 2.2.1 was waiting for me. So I did the update and there's no swype included, and I'm still getting the same message. Anybody else experience this issue? Does this mean we're getting swype soon? I love the 2.2.1 update but I'm REALLY missing my swype. I have big hands and it helped out a lot.

No Swype. SwypeInc only seems to have the beta version (uninstallable on Zio) available to download and I decided to pay for SlideIt for 6.99 or whatever. It works close enough to Swype for me and I can't live without that function anymore. SlideIt has a free demo that the paid for version will auto-uninstall if you pay for it. SlideIt's keyboard is prettier too. More 3D and brighter. At least that's my experience.

It worked great on my zio when I had 1.6 but after the update it was a no go. I saw slideit. But hadn't tried. Guess I'll give it a try.
