Still no As Android Messages

I am using the Samsung flagship
But still no 'web sync'

Using T-Mobile
And Galaxy S9+

Syncing doesn't automatically start up until you go into Settings after you have logged in with an account.

I am logged in but it is not available here yet i guess

It's a server side update so it's just a waiting game right now. Hopefully soon we will see the option to connect to the web.

I finally got it on my V20. Now, all of my 3 phones have it.

I've only played a little bit but cannot recommend the (non-Google) extension for Chrome. It works but you don't get any notifications on your phone. It takes over and all you get is the extension, that's dumb!

The website is working nicely so far, I like it! I hope Google does an extension like they have for Google Voice some day soon instead of having just the website.

Hopefully Google sticks with this as their one messaging app. Allo is pretty much the testing app now and then everything will be moved over to Android messages

Wow, I am using Android Messages for my V20 and it is very handy for work as I have to text all day and now can do it from my computer. What a time saver!

my phone alerts me like norman and since I have a second monitoe in portrait mode I put a browser tab on it maximized and it looks great

Yup, the Google site for it works well. I've added it to my bookmarks and leave it open as well, I do get alerts on my phone.

There is an extension for Chrome by someone else, that didn't work so well.

The extension for Google Voice is awesome, it just sits there and refreshes every few minutes and dings (along w/my phone). Open it up and text away, that's what I'm hoping for down the road with Messages.

And if you put in dark mode and F11 it while in the screen you have no address bar or favorite bar to take up space
