Still no JB on my SGS3 on EE UK?

Are there still many of us without the Jelly Bean update?

I check for updates within Kies on my Win7x64 machine every couple of days. Not had an update for some time now - my version of Kies is currently showing as up to date - 2.5.0.12104_15.

It tells me that my SGS3 is up to date at PDA:LH2/PHONE:LH1/CSC:LH2(ORA).
 
Erm.... well that's an Orange CSC so comparison with EE handsets serves little purpose.

Did you know you were running Orange?
 
Doh I'm an idiot...

I only think of EE as t-mobile for some reason. Is it the LTE version or not?

If you got yours on EE then you might have the LTE version (I9350), which might be why.

I got the SGS3 (GT-I9300) through Orange UK back in June 2012.

The network was recently changed over & is now listed as EE.

Android version says 4.0.4.
 
hey, same with mine, originally orange now shows as EE. Not had an update through Kies for a while now and i dont even have the software update button :( im looking into flashing to an unbranded firmware now but i dont really know what im doing lol any chance someone could help me out?
 
I'm on Orange/EE and got an update a few weeks back. Android version is 4.1.1 and the Software Update in Settings>About is available.
 
Everyone try updating it OTA ( over the air) . Go to settings about phone and then hit system update. Thsi should work it did for me anyway. Hopefully this helps

I'm also on EE (previously on T-mobile) and got my S III update to 4.1.1 weeks ago.
The first few times I tried OTA, it threw back a message like "We are sending out updates in order of requests" or something along those lines. Then I got a notification saying the update is ready for me to download, which was about a week later. This was back before the swich to the "EE" name.

Tried doing it thru Kies, but apparently my handset isn't compatible with Kies 2.0 (no idea why their flagship smartphone isn't compatible with their PC software) so I waited for the OTA update from T-mobile.
 
Finally got it!!

Successfully updated to 4.1.2 over the weekend :0)

Edit - via Kies, & now the Software Update menus are available on the handset itself!
