Stock Android Music Player

I'm new to Android phones and am looking for an easy fix. Is there a timer on the out-of-box music player? If so, how do I access it? Thanks for anything you can suggest.

Well, which phone you have determines which "out of the box" player you have. I can only speak about HTC devices. All the HTC phones have both the original Android player, as well as HTC's player. The HTC's player does not, to my knowledge, have a timer feature.
