Stock browser still compromised?

I can't say for certain, but the android team's response said that portion of code is actually sandboxed, limiting any ability to steal data. Also, since it's from February 2009, I doubt it's an issue nowadays. That was eons ago in "android" time.

what does "sandboxed" mean? Thats what i thought too, but I wasn't able to find any other info on the issue that told me the problem was solved etc.

Would other browsers suffer from the same vulnerability or is it just the stock browser?
