Stock Calendar Missing Virtually All Data

In 2.1 my calendar is only showing back to July 12 depite there being several years of data prior to that. Entries made in the phone do not show up in Google. Entries manually made now, say 7/4 (prior to the 'cutoff' I am seeing in the calendar app) appear immediately in the phone.

Any ideas why I am missing all this data? I've tried re-syncing w/ no luck.

i had some problems with my calendar and I was able to clear all the data, restart, sync and it was there (took me forever to figure that out).

menu > settings > applications > manage applications > all > calendar > clear data

Thanks for the pointer. Unfortunately I have no 'all' nor 'calendar' in the applications list. edited: Ooops, I have found under applications the filter to change to 'all' (I had no idea this list was filtered) and there was calendar. However, clearing the data and re-syncing has made not one bit of difference. It show only 8k of data, only back to 12 July. Thanks though.
