Help stock calendar widget bug

Love this phone! But I found a bug in the stock calendar widget. I was adding my family's birthdays. When I went to make it repeat once a year, the program froze up, then an error message popped up: "Unfortunately the calendar has stopped." I tried several things to fix it. Reboot, different days, even saving the event and going back in to edit. Nothing works. I tried all of the other repeat options, and they worked fine. Yearly just crashes the program. Can somebody else try and see if yours does the same thing? Thanks!

Just did several yearly events no problem. I have a verizon 32 g phone.

There are bigger issues with this widget than what you are experiencing. I used to use it all the time and using BadAss battery monitor, it shows this widget goes wild sometimes and can kill your battery in no time. Once it burnt 24% battery in 1 hour, I have since deleted it from use.
