When I receive a new email, I hear the audio notification go off and a new email icon shows up in the status bar. However, it just disappears a second later. Sometimes, if I have my phone on vibrate I might not know a new email came in, and without the icon staying in the status bar, I won't know of any new emails until I open the email app itself.
I heard K9 mail is a good app, but I would like to see if I can fix this problem with the stock email app first. Is anyone experiencing the same issue?
