Stock Music Player...ringtones too?

I am using the stock music player. Why does it also play the ringtones that I have added to my SD card?

Please do a search, this has been answered many times.

Place a file called ".Nomedia" (without quotes) in the folders you DONT want to show up in the music player.

Or just get a 3rd party media player and tell it which folders to monitor for media.
