Stoopid Noob Question, Swapping my phone?

I finally opened the box...

It is so beautiful! This does not look like a bargain phone. I am charging it at the moment prior to activating tomorrow. I didn't know if the battery had drained in transit. It was half charged, but I'll let it fill up and activate tomorrow.

The surface of the f7 is so slick and smooth. It does grab fingerprints and dust as if it's meant to so I'll put a gel cover on it as soon as it's done charging. I hope all goes well and it's free of any defects but just taking it out of the box and feeling the build and the glass is very impressive!

I hope to post some of my impressions of the device after I've played with it a bit. It's gorgeous. For the money this phone should be available on more carriers for prepaid; it would be very popular, I think.

And I am posting from my little Hydro at the moment, on WiFi with the data turned off! This is a magical night for phones here! Believe it or not I had forgotten my WiFi password and don't have a working computer right now, so I couldn't change it, but it popped into my head tonight! This is just so good!

I may need a glass of wine to pace myself. :)

No one should buy the F7.

The phone I got from Best Buy Mobile looks like the right phone, and probably is the right phone. But it does not have 8GB internal storage nor 1GB RAM.

It has 4GB internal storage and only about 800MB RAM.

The screen size is nice but it's underpowered. I bet it doesn't have the processor in the specs either, although there's no way to check from within the phone that I've found so far.

If I'd only known this, I'd have switched to Gophone or even just stayed with Boost and gotten a different phone with nearly the same specs for at least $100 less.

I don't know why all the printed specs were wrong. Did BM or LG simply decide to make a cheaper phone thinking no one would notice? Did every reviewer and magazine and blog not check the hardware to make sure the specs weren't a misprint?

I don't know how this happens.
