Help Stooping individual apps from syncing?

Hi all,

I have just got my new Galaxy S5 (Love it!) and downloaded some apps. I am on a mobile plan with limited data, so wonder if there's a way to disable syncing for individual apps? I know how to turn off sync for all apps but when I'm out and about I'd like to, say, leave syncing on for emails but off for Dropbox - does anyone know if this is possible? Or is it an "all or nothing" scenario?

Thanks!

You should be able to go into the settings for individual apps and change sync settings there

Should be able to go into setting then accounts and change sync options. Some apps have option to sync over WiFi only. Another thing is you can do is change power saving options to prohibit data transfer while the screen is off

I have not tried to selectively apply sync settings, what I do though is turn everything OFF when the screen is locked.

I have MacroDroid programmed to sense the screen status.
Locked = no internet
unLocked => Internet ON

Sync is always off, I sync everything manually IF and when I need it.

My data usage is about 350 kBytes per month. Use WiFi a lot when home, have everything I can set to only work on WiFi.
