Stop Audio Pause on External Speaker

I think it's really good that Android is able to detect when the sound is too lound while something is plugged into the audio jack. It's great knowing it's willing to warn me before I turn it past a specific volume. The only problem is, sometimes I have it plugged into an external speaker via an aux cable, and the frequent pauses are super annoying. Is there a way to tell it otherwise and stop the pausing? It seems fairly obvious to me it can't tell the difference between headphones and a speaker, which is something I feel it should be able to see.

It frequently pauses the music when it's actually playing? Frankly that sounds more like an issue or problem with the whatever it is device and/or player app you're using.

AFAIK the too loud volume warning is just that, a warning, which you acknowledge, and it doesn't actually stop the music playing.

It's a 4.4.2 tablet. My 5.1 phone doesn't do that. And it's not just music. It's other apps as well, mainly games. That's the main thing I actually use my tablet for.

A problem specific to this tablet then, phone is OK? Have you tried rebooting it, just in case it's only acting funky? And if that doesn't clear it, maybe try a factory reset. 4.4.2 Kitkat is quite an old version of Android now, and if the device is old and/or basic spec, and some latest apps and games might not support it too well.

I think the pausing when the headset jack is unplugged relates to the audio app. Take a look at Mixzing app, some people use it and it doesn't “pause” the music when the jack is unplugged.
