stop Dragon dictation app!

While I love the Dragon Dictation app, I would like to be able to shut it off and save battery life. How would I do that?

Even though i always tell people to not have them, if you used a task killer to manage just this app, or Tasker, then you could appropriately monitor this apps activity and increase your battery life.
