How can i stop receiving or using email on my phone?

Best thing you can do is log out of all your email accounts. In the app go to settings, choose log out.
Hope that helps.
Additionally, you can turn off mobile data in your phone data settings. (Settings / data/ mobile data) If you do that the only time you could get any push updates would be on wifi.
