Help Stop New Contact going to My Contacts Group

Newbie
When I add a new contact, it goes to My Contacts Group. I do not want this.

When I edit the contact to put it in another group, the My Contacts Group is greyed out and I can't uncheck it.

How do I change this not to automatically add all new contacts to My Contacts Group?

Did you ever figure out a solution to this? I am having the same problem
