Stop WhatsApp Pictures automatically downloading

Hi,

I've searched Google but can't seem to find my Answer, How do I go about stopping Whatsapp pictures I get sent automatically downloading to my Photos (Google), I've tried the setting in Whatsapp but can't see anything.

BTW I'm new to Andriod after having an iPhone for 6 years.
