Help Storage issues

I own an lg tribute with a 16 GB SD card installed and I have a few issues.
1. I have over 200 MBS of internal storage left and it refuses to let me download even the smallest apps I reset it twice but still no fix.
2. Whenever a app download fails it seems to leave the apk as I have less space after a download.

I would like to know how to find these apks and fix my storage issues.

Would help if we knew what phone you have.

But generally, installing apps ignore the SD card. They install on internal memory.
