Just received my MAXX today!!!

Question, can the MAXX's internal storage be accesses/mounted as a normal USB storage device or is the Media Server option the only possible way?
 
MTP or PTP. With it connected pull down the menu and select USB computer connection.


I always use MTP and it shows up as a single drive.

MTP is what I used initially to transfer my pics etc.
But it shows up in Win7 as a "Portable Device" not as a regular hard/flash drive. I assume that's normal?
 
SO I am coming from a Droid RAZR Maxx and when I connected that US I saw all the storage and was able to see everything on the SD card. Now I see the internal storage, but some files are not there, my rerware Backup folders look empty, but on the phone there are there. How can I access all these other hidden folders. I am Win 8 (which I can;t stand) so not sure if that is hurting me.
