Storage/Sd card

I have a motorola droid bionic, and currently my sd card is unmounted. Recently I got reminders that there was supposedly no more space left in my sd card because I had too much media. So I went and deleted about four apps, two songs (out of about fifty), and deleted about three fifths of my photos. Yet I continually get reminders I have no more storage room left, and it is affecting how my other apps run. I am not really a technologically experienced person to figure out what is wrong. Please help! (my total phone storage space is 16 GB)

Hello and welcome to Android Forums.

This is a confusing entry.

If your SDCard is unmounted your Bionic does not 'see' the extra storage and the SDCard is useless.

You seem to suggest that you have been accessing your files on an unmounted SDCard.
