I don't see anything on this forum about the Galaxy Grand Prime - SM-S920L so i thought i would post something.
 
Sorry not sure on that one. I have seen specific things pulled such as the stock recovery and boot.img, and build.prop

If a Cwm or Twrp recovery is built for the device, i would be cool with making a clean backup and posting it.
 
Excuse my ignorance but does that mean that in order to get the stock rom, we first need a cwm/twrp recovery? If so, what are the files needed or what is the process to build those recoveries?

Usually you can find a stock tar on Sammobile but so far no go. If they post one, awesome if not a backup from a recovery would work fine. To build Twrp or Cwm there are tutorials online. There were a few people going to give it a go but so far nothing has been posted.
 
Thank you very much for this information. I'm reading that one has to have coding knowledge/linux experience. This is literally my first smartphone (sadly, i cant unlock it) so maybe i'm aiming too higher. Regardless, i will keep an eye on it's development and post if i find something useful.
