Straight Talk just increased data usage to 3GB from 2.5GB

The Straight Talk website has been updated and now says you get 3GB of data for $45 a month, still includes unlimited talk and text.

30 day Unlimited Plans include 3 GB of high speed data per 30 day cycle. After 3 GB, your data speed will be reduced for the remainder of the 30 day cycle. High speed data is restored once a new 30 day service plan is redeemed at the end of the 30 day plan cycle. Other limitations, terms and conditions of service apply. Straight Talk reserves the right to terminate your service for unauthorized or abnormal usage. Please refer always to the latest Terms and Conditions of service.

Interesting. I've been shopping around and have narrowed it down to T-Mobile's Family plan for 2 and AIO Wireless. I ruled out ST but this has caught my eye. Now, Straight Talk maybe back in the running for me.

Perhaps feeling the pressure from other MVNOs... Like Republic Wireless... $40/mo for 5GB of 4G data... not too shabby!
