Not bad, but not great.

Too bad Straight Talk is known for slowing peoples data speeds, and even stopping peoples data when they stream video and music.

In fact they are being sued for reducing/cutting off data speeds:

Well I'm impressed! I am thinking of going to ST or Page Plus and dropping VZW but they don't offer 4G LTE here in the Carolinas and hate the thought of having to buy a 3G phone.

Sorry but that's not impressive. I'm on tmo sim and hspa+ and I get those speeds....lte should be getting 20+

Maybe that's dependent upon where you live, the carrier or the phone itself and time of day. I'm with VZW and it varies as much as 5mb down to 17 down

Yep, where you live and time of day are two of the biggest factors. Depending on if your location has 2x2, 5x5 or 10x10 lte deployed will vary your speeds. My location only has 2x2 lte deployed by Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile while Sprint hasn't deployed any here yet. I see speeds pretty much in line with that speed test on T-Mobile LTE, though with much better ping times. Then I've seen shots of 10x10 LTE deployed in Manhattan for T-Mobile LTE at 2am and they saw 70+mbps down. If the towers are congested, speeds will be slower as well.

thats all well and good yet regardless of your info I was commenting on the speedtest posted. In THAT case its not. when they post a screenie showing 70 MBPS then ill be impressed.
