straight talk phone choice

My old VERY simple cell phone is on very last legs. I am considering purchasing first smart phone. Spend most of my time working on a mac as freelance graphic designer but don't want to spend for an iphone.

Looking for any input on either the Samsung Galaxy Proclaim or the LG Optimus Zip. Thanks in advance.

What would you like to know? They are the two Verizon network based smart-phones that Straight Talk offers. The Proclaim is more powerful, but the Zip has a slide-out keyboard if you just HAVE to have a physical keyboard.
