strange black white lines on Android chrome

Hi guys just wanted to know if anyone knows what these strange black & white lines mean on my Google Chrome when any web page loads seems to be getting worse thank s

Well, it looks like you have many web pages open, Chrome is showing you all of the tabs. You probably have hundreds open and that's why you're seeing that.
Click on one or swipe away to close them.

I only ever have one page open?. sometimes it has the 2s like on picture and some times 1s it's so annoying been using android for years never came across this before

In your screen shot it looks like you have 1 tab open. That number on the tab changes depending on the number of tabs open.

This looks more like a rendering issue. Did you get chrome from the play store or some other place?

Did you try going into the phone settings and force closing chrome and clearing its cache?

If you tried the above with no results then perhaps uninstalling and reinstalling chrome might help.

Just throwing ideas out to see if something works.

I've been getting that on my G4 too for about 2 months. 1st happened with a work mobile site that behaves like an app. It's like the gpu can't handle what Chrome is throwing at it, so here's a pretty puzzle instead. Sometimes it's in blue. Never took a screenshot
