strange connections

Hello,
I've downloaded NoRoot firewall on my S3, it shows that every internet connected application tries to connect to url like

ec2-184-72-66-167.compute-1.amazonaws.com
ec2-50-18-169-161.us-west-1.compute.amazonaws.com

Does it happens to you ? what are they for ?

They're all connecting to Amazon? Amazon Web Services, amazonaws.com. Could be because Amazon S3 are one of the largest data centre and cloud service providers there is, for companies and apps that need these things. Even many Chinese apps and services are using Amazon S3, e.g. Oppo's O-Cloud.

Even Samsung Push Service connects to amazonaws... does that happens to you ?
