Strange net usage.

My internet is active under the wifi single at the top. I have no idea what is using it as all my apps are closed (I think). Any ideas?

Android automatically manages your apps, so even when you close them, they can still run in the background.

If your internet connection is active, then an app is either syncing because you've enabled it to do so or you have a rogue app. I'm guessing that it is the former. Have you confirmed that this only happens with WiFi connected?
