Help Strange Notification Icon on GS3

I hope the image works... What is the left-most icon on the right of the notification bar. anyone know?? It looks like a diamond with lines connecting the corners.

im a new user the image might not work.

Its location. Basically that icon you see at the moment is for emergency things. You can't turn it off and it will be there forever.

Now it seems you have all your location settings off. If you turn on Google location, lines will appear to the right of the icon. Same with VZW location. You can test it by going to settings, location services. And checking the first and third boxes.
