Strange Notification Icon

I have this Icon in my notification toolbar and I'm not sure what it is... Can anyone help shed some light on it?

swipe down, long press on the notification and go to app info. It should tell you what is raising it.

Unfortunately it's no longer showing up, I'm just curious what it was.

Was it on the right or left side of the bar? As a general rule icons on the right have to do with hardware functions like GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and signal strength whereas the icons on the left represent messages from programs.
