I think there is a loose part somewhere inside my Kyocera Rise cell phone. When I make a call, there is a distinct vibration sound coming from the phone. So while it's ringing, and while I'm talking to someone, it distorts their voice like it is coming through a speaker with a loose part.

I opened up the phone as much as I could. Couldn't see anything loose. There were some screws too tight and small for me to unscrew.

Where do you think the sound could be coming from? It is affecting my ability to understand people over the phone. Is this something I could potentially fix myself? Thank you.

This was my thread. I accidentally started it while not logged in.

What speaker? There is no speaker to hold down.

Something is loose inside making people's voices have a vibrate-y edge. And when I am making a call, the ringing sound also sounds vibrate-y.
