Stray Phone finder is a simple yet stunningly useful app which can be used to locate a misplaced phone using sound. After setting a phrase and enabling the app, it lies in wait until a text message is received with the exact phrase. It will turn up all volumes and play a ringtone while you look for your phone.
The full version of the app also has the ability to send an autoresponse text message so you will know if your phone is powered on, and it will also tell you the battery status.
The first thing you should do is choose a pass phrase. Enter the phrase and remember it for later! Check the Enable Application checkbox to enable the app and you are good to go. If you have the full version you may check the Enable Autoresponse checkbox for the functionality described above.
