Streak update will go to 2.1 (Eclair) and not 2.2 (Foryo)

I heard that the update that is due to happen this year on the Dell Streak will not be the 2.2 Froyo update as we expected. It will be 2.1 Eclair.
It's going to have flash included, an improved keyboard. Once I find the video of someone testing the phone I will post it here.

And all that is meaningless with a released device

That is awfully confusing. I'd be prepared to wait for Jan and get 3.0.

Dell has stated that it will be released on 1.6, then there will be OTA updates in late 2010 to 2.2. They never mentioned 3.0 or 2.1 in the US afaik.
