Stream music app turn off after 5 min of screen off

I have created a music stream app and it plays good, but when the screen turn off the music start slow down and after 4 min it turn off, if I want the music to be on all the time I have to keep the screen on all the time. Of course that is a problem, I was wondering if anybody can point me to the right direction, thanks

Maybe you should make your app as a running background service. But users have to allow it before it can run without being killed by Android.
