Stream to DNLA / Airplay receiver from all apps

Hi
I've got a DNLA / airplay receiver connected to my home stereo. I keep all my music on my phone (Samsung Galaxy A3), and I've downloaded an App that lets me stream my music to the receiver, which is fine but it means that I have to use that app to play the music, whereas I prefer just the built in stock music player.

On an iphone, you can connect to the device using airplay, and then once you've done that, the sound from any app you use gets streamed to the receiver. Is there a way to do this on android, or do you have to play the music using special dnla enabled apps?

thanks

I'm pretty sure Airplay is an Apple proprietary thing, and so only phones that have it as standard are iPhones. And for anything else, you'll have to install an app for it.
