streaming music over BT ( HTC 4G)

hi,
i recently got rid of my Iphone 4 and got the HTC evo and i loved the phone but the only problem that i am having is that when ever i stream music over bluetooth it only comes out for the left channel front speaker and left rear of my car only . can any one please help me out.

One thing to check on are the Profiles in the Bluetooth settings for your BT device (Settings->Wireless & Networks->Bluetooth settings long press and then Options...). If Media isn't checked, check it. If it's not there, it's not supported on that BT device.

I'm not sure then. Maybe try another FM station (assuming that's how you are streaming) or re-pair the BT device to the EVO? I wish I could help more...maybe somebody else will chime in.

I've successfully streamed via FM through the Motorola T505 & Jabra CRUISER BT speaker phones. Maybe the BT speaker phone device doesn't support AD2P A2DP or AVRCP?

I have a similar question. I am using the Jabra Extreme, which does allow media streaming audio to the headset. However, when I receive notifications (Twitter, AIM, etc) it sends the sound to both the phone and the headset. On my old Windows Mobile phone, it "muted" the phone sending all sound to the headset.

Do you guys know of either App or Setting (on the Evo) that can Mute the Notifications to the phone when the headset is connected, but still allow the Notifications to the headset?

Thanks!!
