Streaming my music from an online drive

Is there a service where I can store my music on line and stream it to my Tab? I was thinking of using the Amazon Cloud but you only get 5GB free before you have to purchase a plan.

Are there others out there?

I just sent a request for the invite for google music, how long does that take? How much space do you get with google? Amazon only gives you 5gb free.

Does anyone know of a cloud that offers more than 5GB for free? I'm currently trying Mspot but it doesn't upload my whole library. I have about 1000 songs but it only seems to upload about 920.

google google music and read. might be or might not be for you, but they will give space for up to 20,000 songs.

Anyone can download the Google Music app. That does not give you access to the service though. It is still invite only. Amazon upgrades you for free to 20GB if you buy one album. It is then good for a year, but most suspect they will offer something similar then to keep it free.

Your correct. I have the google app but to get the space to upload is by invite only. I sent a request early last week but still waiting for a response. Anyone know how long it usually takes? Anyone know how much space they give you?

As for Amazon, I looked into that as well. $5 for the year isn't so bad for 20gb. I'm hoping I can store pics on there to and access it via my tablet/phone.

I'm just interested in an online storage/cloud where I can store my music/pics and just be able to access them via my tablet or phone. This frees up space on my devices for movies/etc. I think 20-30gb would be all I need.

You can stream it straight from your PC with Skifta, and your videos and pictures - no cloud needed. I have not tried it yet, but I'm going to give it a go, I think it's free in the market.

sounds like you can only play it via a DLNA device streamed through your phone.

There is also Audio Galaxy to stream from your pc, but you are going to spend more in electricity than you would using a hosted solution and paying their fee.

What about an online solution that can host my music and pictures? I think that would free up alot of space on my devices.

I finally got my google music invite. I'll see how that works out.....it says FREE for a limited time. Wonder how much it'll be.
