Help Strike 1: headph jack; Strike 2: mic

I keep getting defective Droid Razr Maxx's

Strike 1. The headphone jack broke, so any pressure on the jack sent a button click to the music software

They replaced that with a refurb and now...

Strike 2. The built-in microphone makes me almost incomprehensible. The mic on the headset works fine.

So it's back to VZW again tonight for ANOTHER replacement. If the next one fails I don't know what I'll do. Get a different model and put an extended battery in it?

I have been in your shoes. And from experience, you will finally get one that is just right. And when you do, you will be happy that you kept trying. This phone is the best out right now IMO. And with ICS right around the corner(I have it already can't talk about it though) it is even better. Keep trying and have patience. Good things come to those who wait.

Except with the HTC Thunderbolt. That one had no saving. Sadface.

I still love my TBolt and love it, The only reason I upgraded was for more battery life, Now I have battery life and ICS so it was a win win :-)
