I am currently stuck in kid's mode due to my son entering the exit password wrong way too many times - phone seems to of glitched out. I can't try exiting kid's mode or enter any of the apps in kid's mode (detects I am pressing the buttons but won't do anything other than that). I have tried going into recovery mode - did an "online update (keep data) - did not work once the phone loaded back up. I am not experienced enough to choose any of the other options as I do not want to lose photos on the phone (even after countless hours of searching on google). The phone is an Oppo Reno Z. Just wanting some advice on other things I could try via recovery mode as that is the only thing the phone is able to do. I don't believe I have lost any data because my phone has gone into quiet mode - only does this at specific times and I am still connected to my wifi

Was the phone set up to sync its photos with a cloud service? Google Photos is the most likely possibility, but Amazon Photos, Dropbox, and various other cloud services may apply. If so, you can check the appropriate service to make sure your photos are safe before proceeding with anything destructive, like a factory reset.

If it wasn't set up for that, and/or you have other data on the phone not backed up, you can try resetting your password. From a computer, go to Google's reset password page and step through its process. I've never done this myself, but it seems pretty straightforward. You're going to be asked for identifying information, and you'll have to have access to the e-mail they'll send you.

If you still need help, let us know! :)
