Root Stuck in recovery.

Hello, so today I saw that the LG F60 had an update released. So I went along and installed it. After it finished installing it rebooted and it went straight to my twrp (TeamWin) and it started to flash a file. I have no idea what that file was, but after it flashed the file it rebooted back into twrp. After that happened I tried rebooting but it just kept taking me to the damn twrp.

Any way I can fix this?

Thank you!

In TWRP, in the Advanced section use the terminal to enter:

dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/fota

then hit enter

type

dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/misc

then hit enter and reboot.

If it still fails to boot, then boot to recovery and perform a factory data reset. If it still doesn't boot after that, you will need to flash a rom or go back to stock with the kdz and LG FlashTool.

Thank you! I did this exact same thing and same problem...I only use it as a backup phone now but glad I got it fixed thanks to this thread and the guy over at xda!

No problem, you may need to install a custom ROM to fix the service connection then install the stock ROM again after.
