Root Stuck on Splash Screen

So, my wife asked me to change her ROM on her phone. I was able to get it unlocked. I have not been able to root it or s-off. I was able to change to Clockwork. I tried updating the ROM but at this point it sticks on the splash screen. Unfortunately in the midst of chaos I did not backup. Yeah, I know, I'm an idiot.

Any assistance?

What rom? Most roms if you are s-on you have to flash the boot.img manually through fastboot or it won't work. If you need more help though let me know or check out the XDA forum for the MT4GS here: T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide - xda-developers

I'm at work now, when I get home this evening, I'll give it a try. I've been trying to flash via recovery...I'll try via fastboot.
