Stupidly basic question about emulators

Ok, so I've downloaded SNesoid to try out some SNES games ... my question is though, where do download the games from?

I've had a look through the marketplace but not really found anything. Can anyone help me out and let me know where I can pick up the games from?

What you're looking for are ROMs. Find some SNES Roms, download them and you can open them with your Emulator.

I don't know if pointing people in the direction of roms is against this forum's policy or not but it is on most forums. Also, it is a copyright violation if you do not own the original games to download the roms. Never heard of anyone being prosecuted but just a friendly reminder.

FYI: There are many sites that host SNES roms. They don't need to be "droid" specific. Like many said, just google "Snes roms". The Emulator will read the roms zipped

I believe there are working 'rom packs' on the market as well if you're too lazy to just go to a website

You can get Rom Buddy on the Market. It makes things a bit simpler if you don't want to search.

most of them are still game developers for current consoles.

It's funny, in my 10 years of development and meeting other programmers, I just don't run into many 50+ year old console game developers. They must be out there though!

10 years? Really? There are several old developers that anyone involved in games development know about - even gamers such as myself. Sure you work in the games industry?
