Submitting Apps to All App Marketplaces

I accidentally came across a post re: costs submitting to the Android Market.

So I thought I would maybe come here - hoping to see if someone could answer the question for each marketplace

  • Android
  • Windows Mobile 7
  • iPhone / iPad
  • Blackberry
  • Others?
I thought I had read that if your app was free (for Android), there was no fee. I found a signup page that said it was $25.00. And of course, I (think) found I found another one that said developers could buy a license to submit up to 10 apps.

If anyone could chime in, and maybe confirm the price(s) for the marketplaces, that would be appreciated (and hopefully by others as well).

Thanks!

I believe for Google Android, it is one-time off US$25 per developer registration and unlimited apps deployment. For Apple, it is annual renewable of US$100 (or US$99) for each year developer registration.

AFAIK
$200 for RIM = 10 apps
$99/year Apple = individual license (your real name goes under the app)
$199/year Apple = company license (need to be an incorporated business of a certain size or income (I forget exactly, but it locks out mom+pop shops, they have to go with individual license) - also must have company officer sign the legal documentation). All iOS dev must be done on a mac too. (or at least compiled).

$25 Google - unlimited apps, one time cost
$99/yr Amazon (waived for devs who signed up before launch)

RIM and Apple are the most draconian...
